Management strategy and structure of UniVacFlu

UNIFLUVAC will follow the DESCA model for consortium agreement. It provides a frame for internal organization, conflict handling financial managements, IPR, rights for publishing of results and data handling etc. and was developed by key stakeholders in FP7.

The overall responsibility to manage and complete the UNIFLUVAC program lies with the supervisory board (SB). The SB will meet biannually, but should there be a request for more frequent meetings any partner can call on an additional SB-meeting. The coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day management and decision making, advised by the PMO or individual partners of the consortium as found appropriate. At the individual research level responsibility will fall on the local supervisors, only second to the SB decisions, that collectively will see to that the individual ESRs and ERs fulfils the research and training program.
